I can now tell you that for the last few months I've been working as the Drawn Animation Lead on "Washingtonia" for Late Night Cartoons. It's my first full-length movie production! Similar to "Our Cartoon President," Washingtonia is an out-there political animated comedy that takes jabs at real-world political figures and the messed-up state of out government. It uses a similar animation style to Cartoon President using Adobe Character Animator, while aiming for a more cinematic feel. It will eventually be airing on Comedy Central and Paramount+ some time next year. You can read more about it here!
Update: So it looks like for a variety of reasons, Washingtonia has been shelved and will probably never see the light of day. Topical political comedy can be tricky to pull off sometimes, and not everything makes it through the studio system. Still, my team & I put in a lot of work on this project and I'm proud of what we put together, even if no one gets to see it. I'm going to leave this post here to prove it existed.
